Kristin Comella, PhD (USStemCellClinic.com, facebook.com/Comella.Stem.Cell) on the benefits of and current FDA obstacle to an innovative adipose- (fat-) derived stem cell therapy.

Dr. Kristin Comella, US Stem Cells’ Chief Science Officer, has an extensive background in the study and implementation of stem cell therapy. With an engineering background focusing on the mechanics and systems of the body in order to achieve optimal health, her more than 20+ years experience has given her notable training with experts in the stem cell arena. Her graduate studies and course work at Ohio State University provided her the opportunity to work with Dr. Jeffery Chalmers to focus on the use of nano-particles magnets to isolate/separate cells. She then delved more deeply into stem cell research at Osiris Therapeutics — a small start-up in Maryland — mentored company founded by the ‘father of Mesenchymal Stem Cells,’ Dr. Arnie Caplan. Following her work at Osiris, Dr. Comella was offered the opportunity to work with Dr. Darwin Prockop, the Grandfather of cellular therapy research on mesenchymal progenitors, at Tulane University.
Dr. Comella is a world-renowned expert on regenerative medicine with a focus on adipose (fat) derived stem cells. She was named number 24 on Terrapin’s list of the Top 50 Global Stem Cell Influencers and number 1 on the Academy of Regenerative Practices list of Top 10 Stem Cell Innovators. Most recently, Dr. Comella made the list of Top 50 Functional and Integrative Medical Doctors/Scientists in the country by DrAxe.com, one of the most visited natural health websites in the world. She has more than a dozen peer reviewed publications indexed on Pubmed in the field of regenerative medicine.

Brian Hooker (facebook.com/Brian.Hooker.75), Epidemiologist, serving as Board Member and Science Advisor for Focus for Health  (FocusForHealth.org/Meet-Dr-Brian-Hooker) as well as being Chief Scientific Officer and on the  Board of Directors for Children's Health Defense (ChildrensHealthDefense.org).

Brian S. Hooker, PhD, PE, is an Associate Professor of Biology at Simpson University in Redding California where he specializes in microbiology and biotechnology. He also teaches chemistry at Shasta College.
Brian dedicated over 15 years as a bioengineer and the team leader for the High Throughput Biology Team and Operations Manager of the DOE Genomics: Genomes to Life (GTL) Center for Molecular and Cellular Systems at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Dr. Hooker also managed applied plant and fungal molecular biology research projects at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where systems biology researchers are focused on understanding gene and protein networks involved in individual cell signaling, communication between cells in communities, and cellular metabolic pathways. Dr. Hooker also served as Research Director for the plant biotechnology company, PhytaGenics.
In 1985, Dr. Hooker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, California. He earned his Masters of Science degree in 1988 and his doctorate in 1990, both in biochemical engineering, from Washington State University, in Pullman, Washington.
Brian Hooker has many accomplishments to his credit including: co-inventor for five patents, recipient of the Battelle Entrepreneurial Award in 2001, and a Federal Laboratory Consortium Recognition Award in 1999, for his work on “Reactive Transport in 3-Dimensions.” The breadth of Hooker’s over 60 science and engineering papers have been published in internationally recognized, peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Hooker has been active in the autism community since 2001 and has a 20 year old son with autism. He currently serves on the advisory board for Focus for Health as well as the board of directors for World Mercury Project. In 2013 and 2014, Dr. Hooker worked with the CDC Whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, to expose fraud and corruption within vaccine safety research in the CDC which led to the release of over 10,000 pages of documents.

On the show Dr. Hooker recommended Fearless Parent website at FearlessParent.org.

Prominently featured in the revolutionary documentary, Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe (VaxxedTheMovie.com), are Dr. Hooker and his pioneering work, helping reveal CDC's cover-up of MMR vaccine-induced autism / brain injury.
